The Chicken Coupe, hosted by Whoopi Goldberg, showcased New York City's best fried chicken paired with Champagne.  Guests enjoyed crispy chicken, endless pours of Champagne, myriads of sweet and savory desserts and an intimate surprise performance by Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter John Legend.  In addition to local favorites, Food Network’s Sunny Anderson and Cooking Channel’s G. Garvin served their signature dishes at the event while John Legend performed songs from his recently released and highly anticipated fourth studio album, Love in the Future. 

One hundred percent of the New York City Wine & Food Festival proceeds benefit the Food Bank For New York City and Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry® campaign and over $1 million was raised for charity this year.
